The Unbeliever is a nickname I chose for myself many years ago. People often ask me if I really don't believe in a god. While this is true, I do not believe in any deity, this is not the whole story. In fact, the name is derived of the excellent double trilogy 'The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever'. A series of massive books not unsimilar to the 'Lord of the Rings' books, but with a different twist.

The Chronicles mentioned feature a protagonist who is somehow transported from this world to a different and magical place called 'The Land'. Much of the books are detailing how he resists this alternate reality believing he is merely dreaming it up. He simply doesn't believe The Land is real and thus questions everything.

Like Thomas Covenant I also question many things that are presented as this world we live in. A keen interest in anthropology taught me there are many cultures with different views and different interpretations of the world around us and our place in it.
